Forbidden Knowledge: Art, Science, and Censorship
Celebrate Franklin's 304th birthday with a taste of the forbidden
On Friday, January 15, the Faculty Senate is sponsoring its 5th annual Founders Day Symposium.
This year's topic is Forbidden Knowledge: Art, Science, and Censorship and features 5 eminent scholars on the topic of forbidden knowledge. The panel includes Professors Anita L. Allen, Ruth Schwartz Cowan, Martha Farah, Ralph Rosen, Gino Segre and Gwendolyn DuBois Shaw, and will be moderated by Provost Vincent Price. The format will be a free-wheeling discussion with significant audience participation.
