How do I get onto the e-mail list for the Penn Club of Philadelphia?
In order to receive our e-mails you will need to register for this website.
Registration is free and only takes a few minutes. Once you register you are
automatically signed up for our e-mail list and you will receive regular updates
on our upcoming events and the latest news! When updating your profile, please
make sure that "Email me Monthly Newsletters" remains checked or you will stop
getting our messages.
How do I register for this website?

When you go to this page, use the registration section at left (labeled "New
to our site?")
if you don't already have an account with us. You will be asked to enter an
e-mail address. Check your e-mail and within a few minutes, a password will
be e-mailed to you. You will be able to log in using the e-mail address and
password.
It is a good idea to update your profile once you have registered.
If you are already logged in, go to http://www.pennclubphilly.org/myaccount.html
From this page you will be able to change your password, enter your address
and other contact information, and set your preferences for using the website.

I am already registered and have forgotten my password. What
should I do?
For your own security, we will have you reset your password. Click the link

When you go to this page, you will be asked to enter your e-mail address.
Enter the address you used when registering (the same address where you are
receiving messages from our e-mail list) and a password reset code will be
sent to you. Passwords should contain at least 8 characters and consist of
letters and numbers.
I am registered but don't remember what e-mail address I used
to register, so I can't log in. What should I do?
Please try logging in using your possible e-mail addresses and see if you are
able to log in. If you still cannot determine which e-mail address you have registered
with, send an e-mail to info.pennclubphilly@gmail.com and
one of our board members will help you find your account.
I am registered and I am able to log in, but I never receive
your e-mail updates. What should I do?
If you are already logged in, go to http://www.pennclubphilly.org/myaccount.html
You will see a summary of your account settings. One of the items is "Newsletter
preference." If you are signed up to receive our e-mail messages, then this
will say "Opted-in." If you are not signed up to receive our e-mail messages,
then this will say "Opted-out."
If you are opted out and want to receive the newsletter, please click on the "edit" link
next to "Opted-out." You
will be taken to a page where you can edit your profile.
Please CHECK "E-mail
me Monthly Newsletters" in the options at the bottom of
the profile to make sure that you will receive our e-mails.
I am opted in to receive e-mail newsletters from the Penn
Club but I still am not getting the e-mail.
Please check your Junk mail box. Many e-mail providers have automatic filtering
to protect you from SPAM, and may have mis-identified our message as SPAM. You
should be able to add us to your safe list so that our messages will be delivered
to your Inbox in the future.
Do you give refunds for your events? What if I can no longer
make it to an event for which I have pre-paid?
In order to hold an event,
we must have a critical number of people pre-paid so that we can cover the cost
of the event. We do not make a profit from our events, so we unfortunately cannot
afford to give out refunds. However, your ticket is transferable. So if you wish
someone to attend in your place, e-mail rsvp.pennclubphilly@gmail.com at least
24 to 48 hours prior to the event and we would be happy to transfer your ticket.
If an event is cancelled by the Penn Club, a refund will be mailed to you.
I'm having trouble purchasing tickets for an event. What's
wrong?
You must be a registered user and be logged in to purchase event
tickets or memberships on the site. Registration is free. If you still are
having problems, please contact info.pennclubphilly@gmail.com.
Please be as specific as possible with the errors you are receiving.
How do I remove myself from the e-mail list?
Log
into the website, http://www.pennclubphilly.org/user.html?op=login. Click onto "My Account" located in the red
bar at the top of every page. Click on "edit" next to "Newsletter
preference: Opted-in." The site will then display your account information.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to where it says "Notification Preferences:".
Uncheck
"Email me Monthly Newsletters". Click "update profile".
If you change your mind and wish to resubscribe, simply recheck the box.
